Tax Services

We provide tax preparation services for many types of businesses, estate and trusts, non-for-profit organizations, and of course for individuals. As part of our tax preparation work, we incorporate the necessary tax planning and research to insure the best results for our clients. We also assist our clients with IRS audits and disputes. We also provide tax reporting services in the areas of payroll taxes, sales taxes, and business licenses.

Litigation & Fraud Investigation

We provide assistance to attorneys and their clients in such matters as domestic relations, accounting improprieties, financial statement analysis, and asset valuations and discoveries.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

We provide various financial statement preparation services including audited reports, and reviewed and compiled financial statements. Our firm has consistently received the highest marks from our peer reviews. We provide various levels of bookkeeping services for our business clientele, including fully integrated and automated payroll services. Our staff is well versed in most accounting software packages including QuickBooks.

Business Consulting

We offer our experience as business professionals to review and evaluate our clients’ business plans and practices. Our goal is help identify those areas of improvement opportunities in administrative systems such as, internal controls, billing and collections, payroll processing, cost controls and insurance needs. We also help identify those business opportunities in the market place for growth and expansion.

David A. Hughett

David is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and is a '78 graduate of Christian Brothers High School, and a graduate of the University of Alabama (class of 1982). David and his wife Sheila reside in the Birmingham area. He is the father of two sons, Connor and Nate. He is an active board member of several nonprofit organizations in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
